Giveaways, Store Promotions, and Events
In 2022 we created our Facebook group for Chicago-area residents to drive membership in one community for the purpose of hosting more local events. If you'd like to sponsor an event or giveaway, host a tasting, provide a store discount to drive traffic, or have other cool ideas -- reach out to Mike. We have active discounts with a number of Chicagoland and online stores, and love connecting people to amazing tequila. Beware, we only partner with great brands and stores. If you offer diffuser or additive-filled tequila, don't bother.
Tequila Reviews
Great Lakes Tequila Club loves tasting new tequila! While we won't be influenced to provide reviews, we will share honest and helpful content for our audience. The Great Lakes Tequila Club outreach is targeted and growing. We never purchase followers or engage in any activities that artificially boost our reach or piss off our valued community. Our authenticity is valued.
We will not guarantee a review at all, let alone a positive review. Mike does the tastings for the public Instagram page and has a preference for traditional tequila without additives. If you'd like to ship tequila samples to us, that's much appreciated and will certainly be enjoyed. If the juice is excellent and there is enough to share, you might even get featured at our next Chicago event (great for a brand entering the market!).
Note that if a brand provides free samples and we do share a review or any exposure on Instagram, it will be disclosed that the tequila was provided to us. Accounts are considered personal accounts and Members will only post reviews that are authentic and honest. If you make crappy tequila, don't even bother!
