Connecting with the Great Lakes Tequila Club is easy!
Start by following our public Instagram account. But to be a full "Member" of the Club, you'll need to join one of our private forums. If you are in the Chicago area, then all are welcome to join the Chicago Chapter where we already have thousands of Members and no cap on new admissions. If you are outside the Chicago area, we have a small group of global Ambassadors with a private chat on Instagram. There are NO FEES to join. Here's more info on methods of joining the Club:

Facebook (Chicago)
The Facebook group is for Chicagoland residents. Started in 2022, this group is focused on local community building. We facilitate in-person gatherings, tastings, brand collaborations, liquor store events, and more fun stuff. Sometimes we just share what's in our glass that night, ask for recommendations, and offer tips on hunting down great bottles. The group is private so we can limit entrants to the Chicago area and drive local engagement. All area residents at any level of their tequila journey should join in! Acceptable identification of membership status includes: Great Lakes Tequila Club Member, GLTC Member, Great Lakes Tequila Club - Chicago Member, or GLTC - Chicago Member.

Instagram (Global)
Connect with us at @greatlakestequila on Instagram for a great community of agave spirt lovers. This is our anchor account started in 2020. Tag #greatlakestequilaclub on your best tequila posts to get noticed and start building a relationship. Everyone is welcome!

Ambassadors (Invite-Only)
Select followers of the main Instagram account are invited to be global Ambassadors--which includes a private chat. While this group is the most geographically diverse, it is also the most restrictive in capping the membership to <30 people. Ideal ambassadors are not only passionate about drinking tequila, but also production methods and industry issues. They are active on Instagram and proud to represent the Club. When promoting or referencing the Club it must be with a positive tone and sense of community.
We also have group of local Ambassadors in Chicago. This team serves as an advisory board and planning team for local events, partnerships, and community engagement.
Acceptable identification of membership status includes: Great Lakes Tequila Club Member, GLTC Member, Great Lakes Tequila Club Ambassador, or GLTC Ambassador.
